The Waterway St, Thysen Project

TRD complete the thysen project in Jan 09. Steven Cross was appointed supervisor and he had 6-8 weeks to complete this project.

After Steven liased with the director Mark he decided a series of road closures was needed to have minium impact on one pf the busiest bus routes into nottm city centre. After meeting Phil from Nottm City Council we agreed on 3 seperate days to close Waterway Street reducing it to 1 lane on the sunday service.

Nottm city council was more than happy with the way we approached the road front keeping neighbouring properties happy, we had no complaints on completion of the project. We also had to contend with a party wall and the joined property owners were impressed at our approach and eye for detail complimenting the supervisor on his friendly yet proffesional interaction keeping them well informed of our agenda.

The project was completed on time and the client Lace Market Properties was more than happy. Lace market plan furture development on the site but for the time being it is being used as a massive car park. With rates of £3 for all day parking it is worth a visit if your planning a visit to nottm city center.
